The Radisson helped turn an unpleasant travel delay situation into a great overnight stay!
- What did you like most?Due to unforeseen cancellation of our flight (and many others) during the New Year's day travel rush), we had to find a hotel close to the airport. We booked online and arrived to find a long line of other weary travelers. The staff efficiently and patiently checked everyone in, keeping a positive can-do attitude through it all even when some travelers were less than nice. The restaurant staff also worked very hard though they were understaffed for the situation. Our room was very comfortable and food was delicious. We got much needed rest and caught the shuttle back to the airport and onto our rescheduled flight! Thank you - we'll be back to enjoy a more leisurely focused trip to see the sights of Amsterdam next time!
We would come back and stay for sure! I would just suggest if you open breakfast at 6:30am to open at that time and not
- What did you like most?We loved that they provided a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, our room was so big and perfect for our family of 4 with 2 king sized comfy beds! It was quiet, and when we requested pillows they were quick to bring them. The restaurant on the main floor was so nice and yummy and wait staff was great! The breakfast was wonderful for all 4 of us and we loved the endless bacon/fruit.
- Was there anything you didn't like?We did have to pay for the shuttle returning to the airport but it was affordable and the 2nd day we were in a rush to eat breakfast bc we had to catch the shuttle at 7, so we went for breakfast early around 6:15am to wait until 6:30 but breakfast didn’t open up until 6:45am. We noticed 1 of the gentleman setting up didn’t seem to be hurried to get things going for breakfast and he was eating himself while setting up (it seems a bit odd) while his female colleague was rushing around trying to get extra glasses stacked. It didn’t seem prioritized well when people are waiting at the breakfast to open at 6:30 but it wasn’t open until late and we had to rush to eat so fast and try to catch our shuttle at 7.
