  There was nothing to like about this hotel.

  The entire experience. 1) The hotel contacted me on 3/4 while I was traveling to let me know there was no shuttle service after I made a request on 2/23. The surrounding area of the hotel location was not well-lit. I arrived at the hotel at 11:00pm. The front desk clerk swiped my card and would not give me a print out or receipt. I asked that he give me a breakdown of the charges and he kept insisting that he would give it to me after checkout. I insisted that he give me a print out and he finally relented - that's when I saw that the charges for my entire stay were deducted from my card. The first room (246) was horrible with a tattered headboard, damaged bathtub, and was in the back of the hotel. I called the front desk and asked why they gave me that damaged room. When I returned to the front desk, they tried to give me a room across the hall from the first room and I told them I did not feel safe. The second room (215) had dirty baseboards, a broken bathroom mirror, a broken dresser, a dust covered refrigerator, a non-working television, and a damaged bathtub. Went to front desk to ask for a refund and they told me they would have to charge me for the first night and would refund me in 5 - 7 days even though I had not been in the hotel for an hour. I stayed awake the entire night and could not sleep because of the sickening sweet stench of perfumed air freshner covering up the odor of the carpet. The next morning, there were roaches in the bathroom. I travel around the world and have had better hotel experiences in what some may consider third world countries. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
