Located in Barcelona's Plaza de España, Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza offers a seasonal rooftop pool and a terrace with panoramic city views. It also has a fitness room, beauty salon and free Wi-Fi. The property is located next to Espanya Metro Station. In the square there are numerous bus stops that connect with other parts of the city, with the Fira Barcelona fairground and with Barcelona airport. All spacious rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe and a private marble bathroom with hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and Smart TVs with Chromecast apps are available. Choose one of the two clock suites and you will have incredible views of Montjuïc from the floor-to-ceiling windows. If you prefer, the hotel also has rooms and suites with private terrace. Only one dog or cat under 20 kg per room is allowed (on request). Supplement of EUR 25 per night per animal and deposit of EUR 200. - What did you like most?The hotel room itself was nice and clean and comfortable and had a good amount of space that was used well. Staff were very professional and respectful. The location is phenomenal. My wife appreciates the very nice toilet and bath room. The air conditioner worked great and kept my wife cool enough for her to enjoy her sleep. The bed was comfortable and I was able to stay covered up and warm just the way I like it. Oh, and we got the room for a great price (it was in early December) AND we got a room upgrade for free to a room with a nice view. When I come back to Barcelona I'll definitely stay there. (Even though it will cost me more in the busy season - which I will gladly pay because of all the hotel has to offer) Thanks
- Was there anything you didn't like?I got used to really fancy bidets in Japan and even though I had no problem with the clean and classic bidet, this would put the hotel room over the top. (Think about it the next time you're upgrading the place- which it definitely doesn't need in the next few years) Your hotel is awesome just the way it is.
