Exceptional
HUGE MISTAKE
- What did you like most?Absolutely nothing.
- Was there anything you didn't like?For starters, the hotel is right off the shoulder of a highway. The parking lot looked morbid with a few cars that looked like they'd been parked there for years from a junkyard. The hotel itself looks like an unserviced hotel from the 80's. The elevator looked like a freight elevator that needs servicing. The place feels unsafe and sketchy. I checked in and it felt off and as soon as I checked into the room I had to leave immediately. It looks like the cliche motels you see in Hollywood films where something dodgy goes down in. They don't even have normal pillows, but instead a few square shaped ones. I typically don't leave reviews, even if the place is bad, but the staff there is just as shady as the place itself. When I left and said I couldn't stay there and asked for the cancellation fee to be waived, the front desk person contacted his manager by phone and agreed. He then printed me out a document that shows that I wasn't charged. Days later on booking.com I see that I was still charged. I contacted them about it on the platform and they ignored my messages. Which is silly because I have the document to show to my bank to refund the payment. This place is cheap, and it shows. Paying double or triple the price for a decent hotel is a no-brainer once stepping foot into this property. The tons of 1-star reviews it has on this platform and others is warranted.
