- Was there anything you didn't like?I honestly don’t even know where to start with this place. I just got back from staying at Hotel Classique in Quebec City and I’m still in shock at how bad it was. First off, I paid EXTRA to get a room with a kitchen because I wanted to cook my own meals. What a complete waste of money. The kitchen was so filthy I couldn’t even bring myself to use it. The toaster looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years - literally covered in old food, grease, and grime. You could barely read the labels on it. I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt sick just looking at it. The bathroom was even worse. The faucet and fixtures were covered in rust - like brown rust stains everywhere. There was hair in the sink when I arrived. The window frames had black mold growing on them. MOLD. That’s a serious health issue and they just don’t care apparently. Every corner of the room was dirty. Dust everywhere along the baseboards, the furniture was all scratched up, paint peeling off the walls. Even the door hinges had rust running down them. It’s like nobody has actually cleaned this room properly in months. So basically I paid extra money for a kitchen I couldn’t use because it was too disgusting to cook in. Total rip-off. This isn’t just about a room not being perfect - this is about basic cleanliness and health standards that just aren’t being met at all. I really can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
